Accommodations in Annapurna Base Camp Trek route :
Annapurna Base Camp trek is a teahouse accommodation trek. A teahouse is a mix of a lodge and a hotel with a common dining room. The bedroom is furnished with basic furniture that contains two beds and a bed table. Some teahouses have attached bathrooms but in most cases, bathrooms are shared. The dining hall is big with a traditional stove to make the room warm. Electricity is available throughout the route but charging your equipment might cost you a little money. In the lower region, you can find a charging socket in your bedroom but in the upper region, you can charge your device in the dining hall only as the main source of electricity in that area is solar power. Hot shower and Wi-Fi are available but you have to pay extra for that.

Most of the teahouses on the Annapurna Base Camp Trek route provide decent meals. From authentic Nepali Thakali cuisine to Chinese and Continental. Some places offer Indian-style meals too. Authentic Nepali Thakali cuisine consists of piles of rice with lettuce, lentil, pickle, papad, Gundruk, and soybean pickles however it might get different in the upper region. Some teahouses offer Chinese and Tibetian-originated food like deep-fried noodles ( Chowmin ), Mo: Mo ( dumplings ), and Thukpa ( Noodles ). However, we recommend that trekkers have freshly prepared dal bhat ( Authentic Nepali Cuisine ). Breakfast is composed of a pair of bread, jam, butter, some curry, tea of your choice, and an egg of your choice.
